Large Non-Standard Custom Machining | Forging/Casting Blank · Rough to Finish Full Process · ISO9001 | Henan Sankuang Machinery
Leveraging Luoyang's heavy equipment manufacturing cluster, Sankuang Machinery undertakes custom precision machining of large non-standard mechanical components. ISO9001 certified. RFQ response within 24 hours.
Actual Case: A steel rolling plant commissioned a batch of large rolling mill shafts (approximately 8 tons each, material 40CrNiMoA). The client's previous supplier had poor heat treatment deformation control, causing straightness deviation and assembly difficulties. We adopted a "rough machining → quenching & tempering → semi-finish → finish" process route with additional stress relief after quenching. Final straightness controlled within 0.08mm/m, fully meeting assembly accuracy requirements.
Mechanical Manufacturing Process:
1. Blank Formation
Casting: Sand casting and special casting (die casting, permanent mold, centrifugal, investment casting)
Forging: Open-die forging, die forging, sheet metal stamping
Blank selection: Forged parts have continuous metal fibers and higher strength than castings
2. Rough Machining
Using turning, milling, planing, broaching to remove most allowance
3. Semi-Finish Machining
Smooths part contours, leaving uniform finish allowance
4. Finish Machining
Using turning, milling, reaming, grinding, honing to achieve drawing requirements
5. Heat Treatment
Placed after rough or semi-finish machining. Quenching + tempering provides balanced strength and toughness
Core Equipment: Large gear grinding, hobbing, and milling machines, CNC horizontal lathes, large vertical lathes, floor-type boring & milling machines, planer-type milling machines.
